Subject: Announcement from Working Voice Actor Group: This week’s discussion – where is the future of voice work headed?
Hey everyone it’s that time of week again where I take a big honkin’ stick and whack that ole’ hornets nest. But before I do, a few items: We are closing in on 2100 members…We are not going to talk about Ted Williams anymore…and has anyone noticed a difference since the group went “public” (whatever that means???)…OK and on with the show.
I had a conversation this morning with another voice talent and the topic came up about all the untapped markets out there where voice over is needed. Not just the radio, television and movie theater.
He suggested web sites. The future of this business is on the web! Yes…but there’s so much more technology being created daily that require our services…apps, video games, navigation systems…
I was curious to know if anyone in the group has done other voice work for things we don’t yet know about. And where you see the real growth opportunities. Is it the web? Is it Toys? Is it Navigation Systems? Is it apps?
