Commercial Voice Over

When businesses produce their first television or radio commercial they tend to forget about the voice over until they’re down to the wire.  I know this because I usually get that frantic call at 6 pm on a friday asking for a voice over by Sunday morning.  Mind you, I appreciate the work and never complain.  But the client has the unpleasant experience of rushing through one of the most important aspects of their spot.

This is why I recommend clients envision what the sound and feel of their TV commercial should be.  How does the voice represent the product or service?  Through this process, we can find the right attitude and vocal quality for the spot.  And it may even inspire a rewrite or two on the copy.

Luckily with radio, the whole thing is the voice, so time isn’t usually as much of a challenge.  But the principles of establishing “the voice” of the company, product or service are the same.

That’s how I help.  If you’re looking for versatility in your voice over announcer, you’ve certainly found it with me.  Just have a listen to the demos.  If you’re looking for suggestions on how the voice should be, I already do that by nature, sometimes offering completely divergent versions.  And, of course, if you’re in a rush, I usually can turn it around same day for emergencies.

You’ll also find my commercial voice over rates quite competitive.  And if you have several radio or tv ads you need voiced, I can work out a package deal, as well as a tagging deal for ongoing spots where just the donut hole changes.

But, again, it all starts with listening to the voice over demo reels at My Voice Over guy!
