
Keeps the bill collectors away! Sadly, it does not apply to doctors. Thus, I have two things to share; a voice over job and my flu. Luckily, you can’t catch diseases from reading this blog (unlike the Drudge Report), so you just get the fruits of my labor… Oh, fever-induced puns! The best!

The ad man started a revolution in a niche commercial market, but the artist propelled “voice over” into the “rock star” stratosphere.
If you follow my blog, you must know a little about the voice over world, so any preamble about the voice of God, aka Don LaFontaine, would be redundant.

Last week I booked a radio spot for Burger King through the lovely folks at Voicecaster and went into Big Joe’s studio in Santa Monica to record. It turned into two very fun spots. I worked with Susie Geiser (who is a geiser of energy!) and we got to improv a bit, parodying “Fox and Friends.” [One of the spots can be heard here on my Facebook page.] At the end of the session they said we’d be back Monday to record “a few” more.
