VOICE OVER AUDITIONS AND JOBS

D.C. Douglas auditions for commercial voiceover jobs whether it is film, radio or television. The audition process isfairly straightforward. The client sends the voice over copy to My Voice Over Guy. Usually direction regarding tone of voice, attack, style, etc. is included, as well as the budget the agency or client has for the voiceover. Then D.C. records at his home studio, edits it and posts it online in a locked file. A link to the file is sent to the client for approval. Sometimes a redirect may be needed. My Voice Over Guy will do this free of charge. However, if the is voice over copy that gets rewritten, then there is a nominal fee.

Due to the length of time in the voice over industry, many clients skip the audition process altogether and just hire My Voice Over Guy straight away. There are many demos on his site that illustrate the various feels and styles. Most clients will find what they're looking for that way.
