My schedule is such that updating this guide has been virtually impossible to do in the last 5 years
that I no longer feel right charging for it, nor do I need to offset the hosting of this site as I did back in the 90's.

Most of the information should still be useful.

Unfortunately, I don't have the ability to teach, coach, mentor
or otherwise help you with your career other than giving you this guide.
Please don't contact me (email or phone) directly as I cannot respond
(I have daily email storms and every call keeps me from making a living)
and I wouldn't want you to take it personally.

I wish you well in your life and encourage you to follow your happiness
as long as you do not leave bodies in your wake!

A Message from D.C. Douglas
to all aspiring VO talent;

After receiving numerous calls from aspiring voice over talent asking how to get started and/or to pay me compliments (thank you), I decided to re-publish these article from several good VO people.

Please understand that my business is conducted via email and my phone. Every call I get that is not job related it takes me away from "keeping the ball rolling"! I DO wish you well in your endeavors, but respectfully request that you do not contact me. All I would say is to look where you're already looking.

Thanks for your understanding! I wish you all the best!

Sincerely,

D.C. Douglas
