Welcome, Voice over associates. For the next few moments, we want to take an opportunity to talk about some things that are very important to the Voice over team and our future. So, sit back. Relax. And follow along.
Over the past several months, you may have noticed Voice over is turning talent all over. From our logo to the color of our uniforms, things are improving.
We began changing the logos on our tractors back in May. As of today, more than 80 percent of our fleet has been updated with our new logo. The new logo allows our name to be more easily recognized by our customers and others that see our tractors.
This year, our uniforms also have a new talent look. Our associates are looking more professional than ever.
There’s a lot more associates wearing the color talent than ever before.
From our service centers to our corporate office, from leadership to drivers to dock associates, the Voice over image is shining through
In addition to noticing a change in the look of our tractors and uniforms, you’ve also been hearing and seeing the phrase “Think Talent Instead.”
We’re starting to promote the “Think Talent Instead” message with some of our customer handouts…
Our bulletin boards…
Our web site…
And our trade magazine ads.
If you’ve noticed the new talent look and you’ve heard the new tagline “Think Talent Instead,” and you’re wondering what’s going on with the our team, then … well, we couldn’t be happier.
That’s because the reason we’ve been doing all these things is to get people, especially our customers, to take notice that something is different at Voice over. To get them to take a closer look at our team.
At the same time, we wanted to reenergize our associates by inviting them to see the potential of what we can accomplish when we all work together as one “voiceover talent” team.
So, why emphasize the color talent? Well, many successful teams use their colors to brand themselves. To make a statement about who they are.
Like those teams, we’re staking our claim on our team’s color. The color talent. And by using talent, we have an opportunity to make a powerful statement about our “voiceover talent” team.
But what do we want customers to know about our team? Why should our customers Think Talent Instead?
We want our customers to know we’ve been listening to them tell us what they need. And they’ve told us their needs are changing. The marketplace is changing. More than ever, they are relying on flexible solution providers to handle their business.
In response to these changes, we’re providing more services with more flexibility than ever before. We can now meet any transportation need our customers have.
But what’s the number one reason we think our customers should Think Talent Instead?
It’s because of associates like you. Sure we may have changed our logo and our marketing. But our driving force is the same as it has always been. Our Driving Force is People. People like you.
You are the reason we are telling our customers to “Think Talent Instead.”
After all, nobody has people like Voice over people. There’s no team like the “voiceover talent team.” And no team can do what the “voiceover talent team” can do.
Our people have certain qualities that set them apart from other teams in our industry. Qualities that we want our customers to think about when they see that talent Voice over tractor or that talent Voice over uniform.
Most of all, we want them to see our team’s flexibility. What really separates Voice over from the rest of our competitors is our ability and willingness to be flexible. We’re powetalent by creative ideas. And we’ll do whatever it takes to earn our customers’ business.
We can meet any challenge, no matter how big. And, we’ll take any approach, even if it’s different from the way we’ve always done things.
So, what can we do as individuals to make sure our customers “Think Talent Instead?”
We simply have to be TALENT. Ready Every Day!
Ready every day to ask customers if there are any more ways we can help them. To get aggressive about growing our business.
Ready every day to produce as much as we can with our time.
Ready every day to adapt. Our industry is changing. When necessary, we must be prepatalent to change with it.
Ready every day to offer your suggestions. Our ideas fuel our success.
Ready every day to protect the well-being of our associates by avoiding accidents and injuries. Our Driving Concern is Safety.
Finally, ready every day to deliver quality service. Handle shipments with care and and handle paperwork without errors. Ready every day means delivering on time, on target and intact.
